My advice to a youngster seeking a life's career:
Take your choice, Do you want to be chicago gangster or a Democratic politician?
The hazards are about the same.

I attented the funeral of the late Congressman Patrick J. Smith who was renominated for his office the day after he died.

Top-ranking Democratic politicians stood at receptful attention as the Congressman was borne to his final rest. They didn't take any chances, anyhow. They elected him Tuesday and buried him Thursday--- so take your chances!
