Megatreasures
The day was the 23rd of July..I had just received news that my daughter had cancer...I was devastated..how could this be???????? She was only 28..and my only daughter...That night I spent it in the dark..thinking, only thinking...I dozed off and on that night...
Finally, I slept..fitfully, but slept...the first thing I did was click on the Megafriends Chatroom...and there I annouced to my dearest friends my turmoil...I was amazed at the total response from all the members in the chatroom..Everyone was praying for us, offering support, even searching out information on the internet..complete strangers came and offered support..
These wonderful people were saving me..without ever knowing the courageous acts. I was loved and more than I ever knew...How does one put that into words..I dont know...but they were my treasures here on earth...I recieved some phone calls from my closest friends here at Megafriends..yes..we do exchange phone numbers..because we are friends first...
Love in the greatest degree exists on Megafriends..I am living proof of this..not just the romantic but the true..love of humanity...
Im happy to report my daughter is recovered..yes..she is going to be all right...and Thanks to my friends here...I will be the best I can be for them and for myself... |
