it happened in a park one day
and yes it was in the month of may
It was a few months after the divorce was final.
I was learning how to be a single dad and re-discovering myself when my youngest daughter asked me if I'd be interested in being a chaparone for her choirs trip to magic mountain.
After thinking about it for awhile I decided it was time to get out in the world again and just maybe there would be a single mom chaparoning as well
It was 6 in the morning in a room full of parents we spotted each other across the room. I couldn't believe how cute she was. As it turned out we were assigned to the same bus, her daughter and mine shared many classes.
By the time we arrived at the park I had her convinced to ride some coasters with me. As soon as we cleared the gates of the park all of our girls quickly ditched us which left us now alone in an amusment park for the day.
Riding coasters, people watching, and a couple of other fun little aventures made for the best time I'd had with a woman in a long long time.
