Spring cleaning not planned how things should be done
tried to speed things by climbing chairs.
Those very much unsafe, a lesson for life I’ve learned.
Anyone shall stay away from climbing chairs.
A lesson for a future learned the hardest of way.
What was I thinking when stepped on the chair that day,
the cleaning could wait, should foresee, a chair is for sitting,
and not for climbing as I did, I am nursing a bad injury
to my right leg… the wound is deep, the healing slow,
about fifty stitches has been done or maybe more?
Didn't planned this falling, windows cleaning could wait.
My focus was away, otherwise, I would be fine today.
Spring is here, and I am unable to do anything.
Shopping impossible, cooking looks like a night shift work.
What have I done, so difficult to do simple things at home.
Wishing for a speedy recovery to my wounded leg,
so, I can walk again with no such throbbing pains.
A lesson for a future learned the hardest of way.
No more climbing chairs, rather using a stepladder instead.
Pain eventually will go away, no broken bone found today.
