I'm having trouble adding my photo. What can I do?
The dimension of your photos must be no more than 500 pixels by 500 pixels wide and under 100K in file size. We require these size restrictions to keep the overall look of the site intact. (Many sites do not control this feature thereby causing continuous scrolling to view the whole photo or lengthy downloads, browser freeze, etc.)
Also, your photo must be in either .jpg or .gif format.
Any photo editor will allow you to reformat, resize or crop your photos, also most scanning software. If you don't have a photo editor you can download one for free at, among other places, http://www.download.com. Do a search of their download area for "photo editors". For example, you can find a nice one here http://www.vicman.net/vcwphoto/index.htm
If you are still having a problem send your photo to us as an email attachment. Please include your nickname in your email.
I don't like the photo I uploaded, how can I change it?
To edit your photo log in and click the 'Photo - edit' link near the top of the right-hand menu of your Account Home page (the page you arrive at when you log in). Follow the instructions from there.
I uploaded a new photo but I still see old one.
Sometimes the last photo you uploaded is held in your browser's cache and displays instead of your new one. To clear your browser's cache you can:
a) Simultaneously hold down the Ctrl and Shift key and click Refresh
b) Delete your browser's temporary files using Options or Preferences
c) Reboot your computer
One or all of the above may be required.
Also, if you are using any type of caching accelerator (Webcellorator, etc.) you will have to exclude this domain.
My thumbnail photo looks weird. Why?
The thumbnail photos are created square so if the photo you posted is longer than it is wider it will skew out of shape. The best photos to submit are those that are square or nearly square.
How do I create a Photo Album?
When you create a Photo Album a link to it is automatically added to your profile.
To add a Photo Album:
Click on the "Photos" button in the left hand menu.
Choose a category you wish your Photo Album to be created in.
Click the "Click here to create a photo album in this category!" link.
Fill out the form with album title and comments. Submit.
Click on your album title.
Click on the "Click here to add a photo to this album!"
Fill out the form with path to your photo, title and comments. Submit.
Repeat last 2 instructions to add more photos.

All photos are subject to review and are held offline until such time. Once reviewed it wil be viewable by all.
I am having a problem adding my photo. I have a Mac.
Mac users should keep in mind that QuickTime's JPEG format, PICT/JPEG, is not the same as the standard JFIF JPEG format. Make sure they are in JFIF format.
Another thing to be aware of is that QuickTime does not handle progressive JPEG, so Mac programs won't either unless they include their own JPEG code.
