I don't see the webcam icon next to the members's names?
This is because there are no members presently broadcasting video.
Do I need special software to view the video?
No, absolutely not! However, if you wish to let other members see you you will need to download and install the ChatSee software.

No, absolutely not! However, if you wish to let other members see you you will need to have a working webcam installed on your computer.
People cannot see my video.
The video channel uses port 8080 and that must not be blocked.
Two possible causes: your computer is behind a firewall or you running firewall software on your computer that blocks port 8080.
What OS are you using? Win2000/XP has a built in firewall.
After pressing Ctrl+Alt+Del the Tasks window will show whether a firewall is running on your PC.
If you must use a firewall Zonealarm or NortonPersonalFirewall or similar are prefered. |
