Hi, and welcome to the Megafriends News! This is just a short update letting you know about more recent changes to the top menu and online members page, some photo adding tips and a bit of humor!
Top Menu Changes And Additions
Members Online Now Added
A link to the members that are now online, Online Now, has been added to the top line of the top menu. This will give quick access to this page without the need to go to your Account Homepage.
Bookmarks Changed To Your Friends
The 'Bookmarks' link has been changed to 'Your Friends' and moved to the bottom line of the top menu.
Spots Link Moved
The link to the Spots section has been moved to the middle line to allow space to add the 'Online Now' link
Members Online Default View Changed
Since most members only view profiles that have a photo the default view of the online members page has now been changed to the Gallery View instead of the List View.
This gives rise to more of a need to have your photo on your profile. If you do not have your photo on your profile yet this is a great time to add it. Continue reading for tips on adding your photo.
Photo Adding Tips
Adding your photo is actually 3 processes tied up into one. First, there is choosing a proper photo, then the actual uploading and finally the review.
Choosing Your Photo
The best type of photo is a 'headshot', a photo that clearly shows your face. Photos showing your whole body tend to make your face small and hard to see. Post these types of photos in your photo albums. Ensure that your photos follow the submission rules stated on the photo upload page.
Upoading Your Photo
This is a fairly straight forward process. It is just a matter using the available form to browse for the photo on your computer and clicking submit. However, ensure that your photo is not too large or depending on your connection, the upload may time out. If it does resize the photo and try again. Also ensure that your photos are in either .jpg or .gif format.
If your upload is successful you will be able to see your photo immediately. Other members will not see it until it has been reviewed.
The Review Process
Once your photo has been uploaded it will be reviewed by the MF staff. We check for adherance to the submission rules, how clear the photo is, the size, etc. This takes no more than 24 hours and usually much less. If your photo is removed you will be sent a notice as to why. Simply correct the problem and resubmit.
When your photo is added to your profile you can change your photo anytime. Your previous photo will remain active until your new one has been reviewed.

A Bit of Humor
A fellow was talking to his buddy and said, "I don't know what to get my wife for her birthday. She has everything, and besides, she can afford to buy anything she wants. So, I'm stumped."
His buddy said, "I have an idea. Why don't you make up a certificate that says she can have two hours of great sex, any way she wants it. She'll probably be thrilled!" So the first fella did just that.
The next day his buddy asked, "Well, did you take my suggestion? How did it turn out?"
"She loved it. She jumped up, thanked me, kissed me on the mouth, and ran out the door yelling, 'I'll see you in a couple of hours!'."
