| Like all first dates I was a little apprehensive about meeting her. Did she really look like here picture was she telling the truth about here shelf. We talked a lot on the phone we wrote a lot to each other --- I thought there was a connection maybe even a very deep one. Or a great chance of a heart felt one to develop. She was bright on the phone. I made plans to meet her at the small quite and yes romantic restaurant. It was set Friday night at 9. at work that day I thought much too much about this date getting nothing done but It being Friday half the office was getting nothing done. But the Boss had not Had his mourning meeting with me yet. I had not seen him all day then 4 o’clock arrived and so did he in a crazy fit of panic there was going to be a big meeting today as our advertising clients where arriving earlier then expected and they thought they would see us on Friday and not the Monday as plan. Sh-t I thought I have two hours to get everything prepare – even if this was going to be a causal meeting one has to always look professional and this was casual Friday me in jeans. I had to call Susan and tell her I might be late but the boss promised me that we would be out by 7:30. I my cell phone’s battery went died and with that my chance to tell here I might be late. At 6 the climates had not yet arrived then can 6:15 6:30 ,but at 700 there where five of them. I could see that there where 2 women in the group from my desk but that’s all. I got my stuff together and went to the conference room and there was Susan looking right at me and me at her. Sometime in life one is destine to meet someone no matter what. |
