Date from Hell
About 3 years ago I meat this guy online, he was about my age, seemed nice enough and we chatted abit through emails.
He was originally from Texas but was working near me on a construction site as a safety inspector for OHSA. We exchanged
phone numbers and talked on the phone a bit. He had asked me out a few times but I had turned him down because I was
still very cautious about meeting people online. One friday he had called about 3 or four times wanting to have dinner, I was
very tired from a busy day at work but reluctantly gave in, but reminding him I was only up to dinner and nothing more. We met
met at T Bonez Steak House. Beings it was friday it was very busy and the waitress informed us it was a 30 min wait and we
could wait at the bar and she would let us know when she had a table for us. I really was very tired and wasn't in the
mood for drinking, but i agreed. He asked what I wanted to drink and I just said I would sip on a beer. He ordered the beer
and a rum and coke for himself. i thought ok this isn't so bad, he seemed nice. About 5 minutes later he order himself another
rum and coke,didn't think too much about then till he order his 3rd, by this time he had got a little touchy, feely, hugging
me and pulling on me. I excused myself to go to the bathroom. When I returned he had order himself yet another drink, and
again with the hugging and pulling on me and the conversation had started getting out of control, he started talking about
moving in together and was getting quiet loud.
The waitress returned to let us know our table was ready, She seated us and we ordered our food and he ordered his 5th
drink. By the time the waitress returned with our food he had gotten even louder. He asked if he made me nervous and I told
him yes he was, he apologized and he quieted down or so I thought. There had been a party of people across from us,
minding there business, enjoying themselves with their family and friends. There was a man in the party sitting across from us
that had long hair and a bandana on his head, suddenly my loudly started making remarks about the way the man looked,
I was so embarrassed I wanted to crawl under the table. Finally, already very tired, I couldn't take anymore and midway through
meal I told him I was done and ready to leave. He insisted I finsh my meal and I explained I was very tired and would take the
rest with me, but I was ready to leave. I called for the waitress to bring me a to go box, and he order his 6th drink, asked
if I wanted another beer, ( still had the first one), I said no and tried to excuse my self from the table. He asked if I would
would wait till he finished his drink, but I delined and he walked me out. I said goodnight, hurriedly got in my car and left.
The next day I know he called my number constantly and everyday for about a week, I didn't answer his calls and eventually
he gave up and stopped calling.....And hopefully he went back to Texas as I never heard from him again....Thank God!
