Just a short update to let you know some of the latest changes here at Megafriends:
PROXIMITY SEARCH NOW AVAILABLE!

We have now completed the new Proximity Search feature! Now you can search for profile matches within 10 miles (16km), 20 miles (32km), 50 miles (80km), 100 miles (160km) or 200 miles (320km) of your City location. Simply choose the distance you wish to search from the drop-down list on the Search page, enter your other search criteria and submit. The results will show members available within your set distance!
YOUR PROFILE CITY FIELD CHANGED!

In order to create the Proximity Search feature changes were made to your profile's City field. Please check to ensure that your City is correct. If not, please take a moment to correct it.
To correct it click the 'Profile - edit' link on the right-hand menu of your Account Homepage, then click the '(change your city)' link in the 'From city' field. This will create a popup asking for the first letter of your city name. It will then show a list of cities to choose from. Ensure that you have the correct location in the 'You live in' ield in order to show cities in that area.
SEARCH NOW INCLUDES LARGER AREAS!

The Search page now allows you to search larger areas such as Europe, Africa, Asia, South America and Oceania. You can choose these from the 'From' drop-down list in the Basic Search Criteria section of the Search page.
SENT PASSWORDS ARE NOW ENCODED!

As a security measure your password is now encoded in the auto-login links that are sent in Matchmail, notifications, etc.
MESSAGE CENTER NOW SHOWS PHOTOS!

When you read a message you can now see the sender's photo (if they have one). As well, when you reply to a message you can see their photo and a short bio.
A BIT OF HUMOR

Modern version of the Birds & the Bees: A little boy goes to his father and asks "Daddy, how was I born?" The father answers: "Well, son, I guess one day you will need to find out anyway! Your Mom and I first got together in a chat room. Then I set up a date via email with your Mom and we met at a cybercafe. We sneaked into a secluded room, where your mother agreed to a download from my hard drive. As soon as I was ready to upload, we discovered that neither one of us had used a firewall, and since it was too late to hit the delete key, nine months later a blessed little pop-up appeared and said: You've Got Male!"
