Just a short note to let you know some of the latest changes here at Megafriends:
NEW VIRTUAL GIFTS ADDED!
=========================
We have just added 44 new gifts to the Virtual Gift Shop in 4 new categories including Sympathy, You're Welcome, Summer Time and Hugs. Thanks to all the members that have suggested these categories and sorry for the delay. :)
To view these new gifts, and to send them, click the 'Gift Shop' link on the left-hand menu.
LOCAL SERVER TIME ADDED!
=========================
We have added the local server time to your Account Homepage. This time is Eastern US time which is -5:00 GMT. Hopefully this will help you in determining post times, etc.
NEW REGIONAL CATEGORY IN FORUMS!
================================
We have added a new category in Forums called Regional. This category can be used to create discussions between members of the same region.
MESSAGE FORUMS PRIMER
=====================
To use the Forums click the 'Forums' link on the left-hand menu. On the following page you will have your choice of a variety of Categories. Choose a category by clicking it's name.
Inside each category are member submitted topics. To choose a topic click on it's name. Once inside a topic you can choose just to read, to reply to a message or to post a new message. To post a new message click the 'Click here to post a message' link. To post a reply click the 'Reply' link in the top right corner of the message you wish to reply to. When you post a reply the member receives an email notification that a reply has been made.
The 'lightbulbs' on the left signifies message status. If it is lit (yellow), these a new messages since your last visit. If unlit, these messages are older.
As with other areas of Megafriends you cannot post contact info, urls, etc.
A REMINDER!

Check your profile to ensure accuracy! Often times, in the rush to create your profile a wrong choice is picked from a drop-down list which can lead to confusion and poor results. For example, a wrong click can change you from a 'man looking for a woman' to a 'woman looking for a man'. Take a moment to verify all your information is correct.
To check your profile click the 'Click here to view' link in the Your Account section of your Account Homepage.
To edit your profile click the "Click here to update your profile." link in the same section.
