Moderator Notifications
When a member posts a message, all active Moderators in the particular Topic will receive an email telling them that a message has been submitted in a Forum Topic that they moderate. You will only be sent one email for any number of posts in a Topic. No subsequent post will trigger an email notification until the present unreviewed posts have been reviewed.

Author Notifications
When a Moderator approves the posts they become readable by all. The author of the post is notified when his/her message is approved or not approved.

Inactive Moderator
When a Moderator leaves Megafriends or is downgraded to Free, he/she becomes an "Inactive Moderator" which is noted by their nickname on the moderator list shown in gray. If there is no other Active Moderator at that time no posting is allowed, the Topic becomes read-only.

Multiple Moderators
As the Topic creator you can request to have other members help you as moderators. There is a maximum of 3 moderators for any Topic, including the Topic creator. The secondary Moderator's actions are reflected as your own. Please choose wisely.

Topic Maintenance
As a Moderator you can turn your Topic off at any time which will convert it to 'read-only' - no posts can be made, however the Topic can be read. An example use of this feature would be for vacation time, sickness, etc.

Topics not actively or adequately moderated will be removed. Once removed they cannot be regenerated.
