Search Saver
With the Megafriends Search Saver you can save your searches for ease of future use! There is no need to continually enter the same criteria (or remember it!) for your favorite profile searches. You can also save individual searches for your Matchmail and your profile page! Great for those 'random' searches!
To use the Megafriends Search Saver click the Search link on the left-hand menu, enter your search criteria and then scroll to the bottom of the page to the Search Saver options. Choose the option of choice and submit.
The Search Saver Options
1. Do not save this search - Choose this option if you do not wish to save this particular search.
2. Save as the "I am looking for" section of your profile - Choose this option to change the "Some of the qualities I am looking for" section of your profile (below About Me). This area is invaluable to show visitors to your profile the type of person that you wish to meet.
Changinging this section is a simple process:
a. Click the 'Search' link on the top menu.
b. Set your Search criteria for the person you are searching for
c. Check off the "Save as the "I am looking for" section of your profile" radio button
d. Click the 'Search here to Search Megafriends" button
3. Save as your Matchmail preference - Choose this option to change the criteria that your MatchMail is based on. This determines the daily profiles that are emailed to you.
4. Save this search with name - This is where the fun starts :) Using this option you can create an unlimited number of favorite searches, all ready for your future use with just a mouse click! Once created they will show at the top of the Search page.
Each search you make is an independent search and only affects the particular option you choose. This means that once you set your Matchmail or the "I am looking for" section search they will not change until you change them.
