Your Bookmarked Friends
Your Friends Center
Your Friends are a great way to keep track of a variety of different members. You can Bookmark your friends, members you think are hot, or even those you wish to ignore.
How To Bookmark Someone
By clicking the 'Bookmark Me' link on a member's profile right-hand menu you can start the bookmarking process. Once the Bookmark Center opens you can choose the variety of criteria.
Hot Or Not?
First you can choose between bookmarking this member as a friend, hot, keep away or ignore.
Friend: By bookmarking a member as a friend
Hot: Member's bookmarked as 'hot' will show in their Interested list showing that you have bookmarked them as such. This is a great way to 'break the ice'.
Keep Away: Choosing this will add this member to a list of those members you wish to stay away from.
Ignore: To no longer receive messages, chat, gifts, etc. from a particular member you can simply Ignore them. Once Ignored they will no longer be able to see your profile or access Forum Topics created by you.
Bookmark Visibility
Here you can choose whether to show, or not to show, the members who you have bookmarked as a friend. These friends will be shown, with their photo, on the 'My Friends' page on your profile. Choose to bookmark as 'Public' to show or choose 'Private' not to show. As well, by choosing 'Public' your nicknmame will show on the member's Interested list.
Birthday Notification
Here you can choose to have an email notification sent to you to remind you that your bookmark has an upcoming birthday. You can choose from a variety of notification dates, from today to 32 days in advance.
Online Notification
Here you can choose to be notified when your bookmark logs in to Megafriends. You can choose to be notified by email, instant message or both email and instant message. (This is a Gold member feature only)
Viewing Your Bookmarked Friends
You can view your bookmarked friends by clicking the 'Your Friends' link on the bottom row of the top menu. Here you will see all members that you have bookmarked.
Editing Your Bookmarks
You can edit your bookmarked friends by clicking the 'Your Friends' link on the bottom link of the top menu. Once there choose either the 'Delete' link or the 'Edit' link beside the member you wish to edit.
Clicking the 'Delete' link will delete the entry from your bookmarks.
Clicking the 'Edit' link will once again bring you to the Bookmark options stated above.
See Who Bookmarked You
You can see who has bookmarked you as a friends by clicking the 'View Interested Members' link on the top of your Your Friends. This list will show the members that have you bookmarked as 'Hot' or those that have you bookmarked as 'Public'.
The Most Popular List
The Most Popular list (click Most Popular on the top menu) shows a list of members and the number of times that they have been bookmarked.
